Help the under privileged youth for a better life

Hello everyone, Happy New Year.

My name is Vinay Renukuntla. This is the story of my PT sir Shri Narendar Goud Pogula. We all have our own tales in our PT sessions during our school days and you all must be going nostalgic by now :).

Now, My PT sir is on a mission! The mission is to conduct a pre-police and Pre-Army recruitment training camp for 120+ socially backward and extremely underprivileged children and +2 passed out youth (boys and girls) to field them in the Army and Telangana government police selection process to give them a better life.

Narendar sir is currently a Physical director in the government junior college, Jangaon in Jangaon district, Telangana.

Since my school days, Narendar sir has had the passion and instrumental in identifying the talent, motivating and nurturing the students as athletes to compete in state and national events across India. He trained several sprinters and crafted teams for Basketball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi and won many state and national championships across India.

This initiative of organizing training camps for backward and underprivileged children has started in 2016 and the number of students enrolling in the camp has been consistently growing every year. In 2019 alone, 20 students were selected as constables and 1 student as a sub-inspector and the plan is to improve the tally this year.

Since 2016, Over 15 Students have been selected for Indian Army and went on to protect our national borders.

The current training camp has just started and is scheduled to last for 3 months with two physical training sessions (6:00-8:00 am and 4:00-6:00pm) a day and a daily classroom session.

Narendar sir is supported by District Education officer Byri Srinivas and the camp's past alumni for theory classes, Dr. T Venkateshwarlu, L Satyanarayana, Madam Rebhaka for conducting physical training sessions.

The challenge is to provide the balanced diet with required proteins and nutrition's for these underprivileged children during the grueling training camp and to meet some of the training camp related needs.

The estimated cost to meet the above mentioned needs would be about $6K USD. So, I have decided to reach out to my friends and larger family across.

I appeal to all of you to come forward and support Shri Narendar sir and his colleagues. This is a way to help and contribute to nation building.

What else can be the best way to start the new year by extending a helping hand :)
