My name is Misty and I am a friend of the Ulmer family. They lost their father and husband to covid, the end of 2021, which was devastating with 10 children at home, between the ages of 16 and 4. On November 5th, another tragedy struck when a contactor didn't call before they dug and they hit a sewer line in the Ulmer family's yard, causing sewage to back up into their house and ruin the whole first floor. The family is displaced and living in hotels until their home is liveable. They are being told that it could be April. Most of their things were ruined and it may be a while until the insurance kicks in. Until then, they have daily expenses that are much more, due to the inconveniences of 11 people living in hotels.
