Help the UCB NY Staff

UPDATE: This campaign is being run by the former UCB staff. We are working to raise funds to support ourselves and everyone affected by UCB's layoffs. The money raised is meant to assist all the laid off UCB NY Theatre and Training Center staff in paying for necessary expenses for survival in this trying time. Our goal is to be able to offer each employee in need, both staff and teachers, what their earnings would been from a month of work. We have been collecting the information of all those affected (monthly wages, financial need, and preferred payment method) and once we withdraw the funds into a dedicated checking account, Paris Adkins will be responsible for using Zelle, PayPal, or checks to distribute the money to the former staff members.
Thank you so much to all that have donated. Seeing the outreach and support provided by this community has been heartwarming. As many have said “UCB isn’t the place, it's the people”,  so thank you for continuing to prove that by helping those in need in the community and truly having our backs. 

After the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and Training Center conducted mass layoffs this week we (house managers, box office, front desk, registrars, line control, techs) were left without the resources we need to survive. Right now we need help with funds so we can pay our rent, buy groceries, pay for medications, and survive during this trying time. The UCB Staff have always been there to support the community (looking at you lost 101 students and freaks who have barfed in the theater). We were the people you saw everyday. Even in horrifying times like these, please help the community thrive. UCB isn’t the place, it's the people. So, let’s help the people.
