Help the Turner Family During Their Cancer Journey

We’re rallying together to support the Turner family — a couple who has faithfully poured into the lives of so many, and now need a little help of their own.

Karen Turner, a beloved kids ministry volunteer and constant source of encouragement, was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has already undergone a successful surgery at MD Anderson in Houston, and we’re so thankful for her progress. However, her journey isn’t over yet.

In just a few days, Karen and her husband Rob will return to Houston for six or more weeks of daily radiation therapy and now some chemotherapy as the cancer has spread. While they’ve been able to secure temporary housing near the hospital, they’ll face significant additional expenses — including food, gas, parking, and other day-to-day needs during this extended stay away from home.

Rob, the production lead at Real Life Church, works tirelessly behind the scenes every week to create meaningful worship experiences. He and Karen are a quiet force for good — showing up, serving others, and giving generously of their time and hearts.

Now it’s our turn to give back.

We’re collecting a love offering to help cover the extra costs this season will bring. Every dollar raised will go directly to the Turner family to relieve financial stress so they can focus on what matters most: Karen’s healing and recovery.
