Help the Turner family with bills

Hello all, this is Kaitlyn, one of Sue's kids.

On February 14th, we brought my mom into the hospital for unrelated symptoms, and upon testing and lab work, found cancer that was diagnosed via a biopsy on Feb 17th as Stage 4 small-cell lung cancer, with mets to her liver, a lymph node, and her brain. We were originally told that she had about 6 months left at the most... but she declined rapidly and we all worked diligently to make sure that she was as pain-free as possible throughout the entire process.

Today, March 11th, 2023 at around 10:45am, Sue passed away. She was surrounded by all of us and was held and comforted until and past the last seconds of her life.

Thank you to everyone who knew and loved her. We appreciate all of you.

My mom loved birds, doing puzzles, knitting, crocheting, doing her nails, coloring, fish, plants, the dogs, and most of all: us kids and her family. There's so many more things she loved, but my concentration has gone out the window these last few days.

She had a smile that could light up a room, a laugh that would travel across the house, and a sense of humor that always found something to giggle about even during stressful times. She enjoyed watching sci-fi, space launches, republicans making fools of themselves, and popular court trials through live streams on youtube.

She was an amazing support system, cheerleader, and mother. We will miss her so very much. There is an exceptionally large hole in our lives where she used to be, and not having her here will be a huge adjustment. I'm already finding instances where I have had to stop myself from getting up to go see her for whatever reason.

We love you so much mom. Thank you for everything you've ever done for us.

In the meantime, my siblings, father, and I are raising funds to cover backlogged utility/house bills that have built up since my mother, Sue, started being bedridden over two years ago, and any medical costs that may come up. We are not fully sure of the costs of everything together, so our goal is an estimate for now.

If you are not comfortable going through this website, or just want to send us a card/letter, we have a PO Box, which is:

More posts may be added with stories or words that either myself, my siblings, or my dad want to say. She HATED pictures of herself, so... sadly we don't have many.

Cherish your loved ones, and give them all hugs from us.
