Supporting the Tripp/Henley Family After the tragic loss of their sweet girl Aria.
My name is Brittany Widrig. Aria Tripp’s brother is my nephew and I’m starting this gofundme page with the family’s blessing because right now they need us to come together as a community so they can grieve and figure out the next steps.
On August 1, 2026, Aria was tragically killed after being hit by a car in her neighborhood. She was 12 years old. She would have turned 13 next month celebrating her birthday.
She had just finished elementary school and was excited about starting at her new school in the fall. All of the exciting things a girl her age would be looking forward to- new school, new locker, new friends.
Aria loved her family and her friends fiercely, and she made friends everywhere she went. She had an infectious personality. She was an active little girl that loved playing soccer and travelling with her team and enjoyed being outside like ever Yukon kid does.
Her aunty shared this about her:
“She was the best niece anyone could have asked for. She loved with everything she had. She was an incredible human. She shared everything with me, sometimes before even her parents. She was like a daughter to me. I was honoured to know and love that precious soul.”
What your donation does:
No parent should ever have to plan their child’s funeral. Aria’s parents need time to grieve, and they need to be able to lay their baby to rest without worrying about how they’ll pay for it.
Funds raised here go directly to Aria’s family to cover funeral and memorial costs, and to support them through this time so they can step away from work, stay on top of everyday expenses, and be together while they grieve and figure out what comes next.
If you can’t give please share this instead. And if you knew Aria, tell her family what she was like. Those memories will matter to them for the rest of their lives.
Thank you for holding this family up right now. Aria was so deeply loved. there are no words.
Brittany
