Hi! We are the Trinitones, Trinity College’s first all-female a cappella group, founded in 1988. For nearly 40 years, this group has been about so much more than singing. It has been a place where women come together to support one another, grow, and feel genuinely at home.

The Trinitones have always been a safe space and a place where everyone is encouraged to be fully themselves, whether that is through music, friendship, or simply showing up as who they are. Being a Trinitone means late night rehearsals. It means singing wherever and whenever we can, and finding comfort in laughing through the moments that do not go perfectly. Most of all, it means knowing you are surrounded by people who accept you completely. Over the years, we have been lucky to share our music on some incredible stages, including performing with Rachel Platten, a former Trinitone, at Lincoln Center. Still, what matters most to us is the community we have built together.

This year, we hope to record an album that captures the songs and memories that define our time in the group. We want something we can hold onto forever, while also sharing our music beyond campus by releasing it on Spotify. This album would celebrate the history of the Trinitones and the people who make this group such a meaningful part of our lives.

Recording an album is a big dream, and studio time and production costs add up quickly. Any donation, big or small, helps us preserve the music, friendships, and sense of belonging that the Trinitones have created for generations.
