My parents, James and Beverly Trexler, have always opened their home to family, including their four great-grandchildren. Recently, their lives were turned upside down when a devastating fire destroyed their house. In an instant, they and the children lost not only their home, but also all of their belongings. The children, in particular, are struggling with the loss of their toys, clothes, and school supplies—everything that made their daily lives feel safe and normal.

James and Beverly are both retired, and James is in very ill health, which makes this situation even more difficult. We are raising funds to help provide temporary housing for my parents and the children as they work to rebuild. The fire also destroyed both of their vehicles, so replacing those is a top priority to help them get to appointments and meet daily needs. Every donation will go directly toward restoring the essentials they need to start over—clothing, school supplies, toys, and the basic comforts of home.
