Help the Treadway Family Rebuild After House Fire—Just Months After Their Paired Kidney Donation

Just a few short months ago, Jesica and Dennis Treadway were part of something truly extraordinary. In an act of incredible generosity, Jesica donated a kidney to save the life of someone in desperate need.

Jesica donated a kidney last October, in the paired kidney exchange program, so her husband who was in kidney failure could move up on the transplant list-a gesture that shows the depth of compassion and love this family lives by every day. Within three months, Dennis also got his new kidney from an anonymous donor.

But life took a heartbreaking turn…

The unthinkable happened, a sudden fire tore through the Treadways’ home, leaving behind devastation. While Jesica, Dennis, their children, and their animals thankfully made it out safely, the fire has destroyed a very large portion of their home, their belongings, and so many irreplaceable memories.

Now, while Dennis continues to heal from major surgery, the family is facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding and possibly starting from scratch. They’ve lost not just their home, but their sense of stability and normalcy.

We are rallying around the Treadways to help them get back on their feet. Funds raised will go directly toward:

• Temporary housing and day-to-day living expenses

• Replacing essential belongings (clothing, beds, furniture, full kitchen, etc)

• Continued medical care and recovery support for Dennis and Jesica

• Long-term rebuilding costs
