Matt Tranchita and his wife Lauren fulfilled a dream almost three years ago. By working hard and saving money they were able to buy a house in Boulder Creek in which they planned to raise their family. It needed a little work but they were up to the task. Matt spent the hours he wasn't working or spending time with his family, by working on that house and making it their home. Unfortunately the CZU Lightning Complex Fire took that home, along with all their belongings. Fortunately the family and pets made it out safely. Matt continues to work as an IBEW Local 617 inside electrician and Lauren is continuing to pursue her bachelor's degree in nursing while temporarily living in a hotel with their children and pets. On top of that their two kids continue distance learning due to the coronavirus. My name is Ryan Gonzalez and i met Matt when we became first year apprentices together. I am fortunate to have become his friend and am proud of the man he has become. Please find it in your heart to join me in helping this family that must now rebuild from scratch. The task is enormous and there are countless hurdles that must be overcome to once again have a place to call home. The last thing they need is to worry about finding money for real temporary housing and everything associated with putting life back together. Every penny counts and every contribution is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time and stay safe out there
