Boulder Creek Fire - Help the Tranchita Family

Our  good friends Matt and Lauren Tranchita, and their two kids Ryder (5th Grade) and Hadley (First Grade) lost their home to the CZU Lighting Complex fires in Boulder Creek.

They were forced to evacuate from their home  last Tuesday night at 10 p.m.  by a helicopter telling everyone to get out of town as the fire was approaching.

Quickly grabbing what they could fit into their two vehicles, they drove off to safer grounds saying  goodbye to their house and community not knowing if they’d ever see it again.

Now displaced, the Tranchita’s like many, many other families from the Santa Cruz Mountains are at a loss for what happens next.   Lauren is stressed out trying to finish her Nursing Program during all of this.  Matt is also under a lot of stress as he is trying to complete a high profile construction project for his company in the next few weeks.

This Go Fund Me was set up to help  Matt and Lauren focus on their family and next steps.

They were very weary of us setting this up for them but so many people have asked how they can help - this is one way. And Lauren and Matt have both said they will help other families facing hardship in Boulder Creek.

If you  can help out in anyway while they’re  dealing with this very difficult situation it would be much appreciated.

I know if any of our families were displaced by a tragedy like this Matt and Lauren would be there for us in a heart beat.

Let's lift up this family in their time of need and tragedy.
