Help the Torres Family find a Home

I met Esmeralda and her 3 children through Safe Families for Children. Safe Families for Children is a family preservation movement motivated by radical hospitality, disruptive generosity, and intentional compassion to keep children safe and families together facing crisis. After getting to know Esmeralda and her beautiful children as her volunteer host, I am on a personal mission to advocate for her and ensure she is on a path to build a foundation for her future, a future where she no longer socially isolated from loving and supportive community. She is currently searching for a permanent housing solution for her family and is struggling to meet either the income and/ or credit score criteria of many viable options. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise enough to pay in advance 1 year of rent in an apartment close to her new job so that potential landlord knows she is not financially liable and she has a buffer to build her credit and save based on her new income. She will also need upfront funds for furniture (beds, tables, couches, kitchenware etc) as she was displaced and is currently without any. Rent in her area of interest is around $1000 -$1200 including utilities which is within Esmeralda's current budget. Thank you for being a part of this amazing redemption story.
