Help the Toole Family Rebuild After House Fire

Hi there, my name is Samantha and I’m creating this fundraiser for my friend, Ian, and his family (his brother and parents). On Friday, March 1st, 2024, they suffered a horrible tragedy. After a trip to the store for groceries, they arrived at their home of 23 years to see multiple fire trucks and firefighters putting out a massive fire that had just destroyed much of their home and belongings.

Not only is their home in need of massive repairs, and much of what’s inside not salvageable, but they have also lost 2 of their cats in the fire as well. One of the cats, Bootsy, was recovered by the firefighters and has been laid to rest. The other cat, Milly, has yet to be found, and while the Toole family is hopeful Milly escaped and may return, the odds are never good in a situation like this.

Edit: As of March 4th, Milly's body has been recovered and she has been laid to rest as well. Rest in peace, Milly and Bootsy.

I can’t imagine the pain of losing so much at once. Having their whole world turned upside down. Having to rebuild their home. Having to rebuild their life. They have home insurance, and that will definitely help them in their process of repairing their house. However they will need a lot more than an empty house, they will need a home. They will need to be able to buy furniture, clothes, toiletries, and anything else that may be needed for four people and their 2 surviving dogs to start over.
