Rod and Betsy Tobin are very special people, grandparents raising their grandson as he maneuvers through the challenges of chronic illness. Together they were beside him for his diagnosis, surgeries and hospitalizations. They learned how to administer his medications, gained an understanding of how to keep him helathy. They adjusted their lives to fit around his needs.

A few days ago Rod passed away, it was sudden and shocking. Betsy said, " It just happened so fast, I still can't believe it." Betsy is now left to care for her grandson on her own, without her life partner.

This fundraiser is to help her with burial expenses, any remaining funds will go toward their living expenses. The money raised will go directly to Betsy Tobin. The hope is that this will ease just a bit of the load on Betsy's shoulders and let her know that she is not alone.
