On October 19th around 5:30 PM, Austin and his grandmother (Laurie) were involved in a rather tragic accident!! Austin was thankfully okay, only having a few physical bumps and bruises and a concussion. His grandmother was not as lucky, and the accident claimed her life.

Austin, being young, only carried basic liability and his car was totaled. Since then, the bank she used was kind enough to steal all my money and hers! And our dog of 11 years also passed away on the 28th of October.

We are never the people to ask for any handouts, but financially we are just overwhelmed with no light at the end of the tunnel with funeral/celebration of life costs and cremation as well as a car for Austin, who for the last few years has held a full-time job, bought that car with his own money, is a straight-A student who is attending Hilbert and playing for their volleyball team. Helping to keep him focused on his life goals as well as not having to struggle more due to this tragedy is crucial.

To anyone out there who is facing tragic deaths or circumstances, my heart and prayers go out to you and your families.
