Help the Dkone and Mejia family

Hello everyone. We all know and love the Tedford family. The laughs and love they have provided to all of us have helped us through our darkest times. Now it’s time for us to help them through theirs.

Our amazing boy, Jay Tedford, age 13, passed away on September 20, 2021. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games, soccer, listening to music, and watching movies. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Everyone who knew him would say that he made them laugh or smile and that he got along with everyone. He made everyone he met instantly feel like family. He was a defender of all those he felt were in need. Jay will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

This was a very unexpected passing and the family has incurred great costs to put their sweet boy to rest.

We all feel helpless and wish we could help in whatever way possible. This is how we can. Let’s make sure to cover the costs of appropriately putting Jay to rest without his family having to stress about the financial burden.

Van Buren has always been a small “everyone knows everyone” town. Let’s keep that going by supporting one of our best families!!
