Three days before Christmas, our family experienced something we never imagined would happen to us. Our car was stolen - overnight and without warning - taking with it not just our only vehicle, but our children's car seats, stroller, and Christmas presents meant for our two young boys.
We are parents to two little boys who rely on that car for everything: doctor appointments, grocery runs, and simply getting through daily life. Losing our vehicle has left us suddenly stranded during a time that is already emotionally and financially heavy for so many families.
We moved here to Omaha from Salt Lake City just a few months ago for work, hoping to build stability and a fresh start for our family. With no nearby support system yet and the holidays upon us, this loss has been overwhelming in ways we're still trying to process.
We never expected to be in a position like this, especially at Christmas - but we are reaching out because we need help.
What we are raising funds for:
We are raising funds to help our family replace what was lost and regain basic stability:
-A safe, reliable vehicle so we can get to work and essential appointments
-Replacement car seats for our two boys
-A replacement double stroller for daily use
-Transportation costs in the interim while we are without a car
-Replacing Christmas gifts that were taken with the vehicle, if possible
Any support - whether through donating or sharing - means more than we can express. Your kindness helps us get back on our feel and gives our boys a sense of normalcy after a frightening and confusing experience.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping our family during a moment we will never forget.
