Hello, I'm Mohammed. I'm from Gaza and currently live in Belgium. Together with my friend Res I'm trying to provide food, clothes, shelter and other necessities for my family in Gaza. The initial aim of this fundraiser was to evacuate them but since this is extremely difficult the focus will be on their survival in Gaza. We're specifically trying to help my parents, sister, nephews and nieces, in total there are 30 family members. After having been displaced several times they are currently staying in Deir al-Balah, in the center of Gaza. I'm saddened to say that my brother, father, nephew and cousins were all killed by the occupation forces in the past 2 years.

My family is currently living in a tent. Their house was completely destroyed by bombs. Besides that there is a huge lack of food and clean water. The prices of any goods that are still being sold are extremely high. I'm currently focusing on getting them a second tent since one tent is too small for 30 people.

I want to do everything I can to help my family. Every small donation helps. The money will be used for a tent (1000 dollars) and providing daily necessities. I've seen a lot of solidarity around the globe and I really hope that this community effort will ensure that my family's basic needs are met.
