Help The Texan bounce back from this unfortunate misfortune!

Hi, my name is Ashley and I work at The Texan in Bothell (Canyon Park), WA. I am setting up this GoFundMe to go to Ross and Amanda Baker that own The Texan. Today, when they arrived to open up the cafe, they discovered quite a disaster!! The shelves that carry our extra coffee syrups somehow detached from the wall, and all the bottles shattered and spilled everywhere. Unfortunately, the syrups spread everywhere and soaked into the walls, the mats got embedded glass all in them, and the wallpaper towel dispenser was destroyed. Luckily, a cleaning company was able to come out to clean up the syrup, but the most pricey part that needs to be done is the walls are going to need to be repaired, mats and paper towel dispenser replaced, and all our syrup stock replaced. The Bakers are seriously one of the nicest people and bend over backwards to be there for everyone and love serving this community, and I would love to help them in any way that we can, so any type of donation would be so greatly appreciated!!

Isaiah 61:3 came to mind, and we couldn’t resist crafting our own “Texan Message” version: “To appoint unto them that mourn in Canyon Park, to give unto them lattes and mochas instead of broken bottles, the espresso beans of joy, the apron of praise instead of the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called baristas of righteousness, the shots of the Lord, that He might be glorified.” Messes happen—but we’re so grateful.
