Jonny update! 3/20
Hello friends and family!
Just a quick but wonderful update on Jonny!
His scans post surgery continue to look amazing. He is fighting so hard. He's walking and talking now and spending AlOT more time at home now that he's healthier.
Jonny has begun his proton therapy which will be mon-fri everyday for 5 weeks. His doctors have decided to run the radiation and chemo separately for now as running them together holds a high risk for a longer recovery. Once all of these therapies are complete, Jonny will have finished the protocol required for his cancer. Which we are so so excited for. Thankyou for all of your continued support, love and kind words for our Jonathan

Jonny Update:
Jonathan had his liver resection in Nov and his family and medical team are proud to say it was successful with a -neg margin and upon the pathology report they found out 95% of Jonnys cancerous mass had died from previous chemo. YAY!
He still however has a long road ahead of him. He has to finish chemotherapy as the protocol (8 rounds) and possible radiation in his future. Jonny got to spend not only Thanksgiving with his family but Christmas as well before heading back into MGH for his 5th round of chemo and some imaging. The Terrell family wants to say thank you to all of you. Those who have prayed for him, shared his story, and donated or made meals during this hard time. It means the absolute world. ❤️

This is Jonathan. He is only 14 months old. Very shortly after his 1st birthday Jon was admitted to Boston Mass General Hospital for some very concerning symptoms. After a few days of testing and tons of imaging, he and his family received news that no family ever wants. Jonathan had a large mass on his liver that was diagnosed as Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor, a rare and very aggressive form of pediatric liver cancer. He began chemo immediately with his mother and father alternating their days with him at the hospital.
Jonathan has 3 other siblings at home that need caring for. One that has special needs and disabilities as well.

Jonathan has begun his 3rd round of chemo with resection of his liver in the near future. The tumor is responding quite well to chemo (so far).
Though he hasn't been in the hospital the entire time, a majority of the last 2 months have been inpatient.
Travel expenses have become very difficult and the family car they rely on is quickly failing to be safe for the long rides (it's a 16 yr old SUV). Mom and Dad utilize PT1 forms when they can but that isn't always available in emergency situations.
And while the world keeps turning it feels like their lives have completely stopped.
Jonathans father works in carpentry, but has not returned to work given the wildly unknown future of Jonathan's care and having his 3 siblings at home needing a parent as well.
With both parents providing the best emotional care and support for their children, things such as bills and rent still need to be paid.

Please say a Prayer for Jonathan and if you cannot donate please just share his story.
