Help the Taylors Rebuild Their Home After Fire
Our family friends, Robert (Red) and Laurie Taylor are suffering a devastating loss after a house fire in the early evening of 8/17/21. Neighbors reported a lightning strike which they believe was the cause of the fire. Thankfully no one was at home when the fire started. Robert and Laurie were moving their youngest daughter to Lubbock to start her junior year of college. They were about to embark on a new chapter as empty nesters. As you can imagine, they are shocked and devastated to find out that their home of 17 years is gone and there is absolutely nothing left to come home to.
This devastating house fire created massive amounts of damage. They lost everything including their home, two motorcycles, and many personal belongings including family heirlooms, photos, clothes, etc.
Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs. We are hoping we can help alleviate some of the stress that the Taylors will face as they begin to rebuild. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference for our friends. Until insurance kicks in, donations will be used for the essentials including toiletries, toothbrushes, clothes and temporary housing. Let's show them the love they deserve by giving what you can to help them recover. If you prefer, you can send donations via Venmo to @Laurie-Taylor-LSC.
