Help the Tasson Family

Hello, my name is Andrea Hruzek-Graber, and I am a good friend of Jim and Nikki Tasson. Jim and Nikki have five beautiful children; Gia, Calvin, Angelo, Bianca, and Capri. Jim works for Plexus as an Infrastructure Architect, and Nikki is a Registered Nurse at Women's Health Specialist. The Tasson family already lived the unimaginable, with the loss of their son Angelo in 2016 due to GBS sepsis. Unfortunately, the pain and suffering have continued for the Tasson family.

On Thanksgiving, Jim contracted COVID for a second time. Jim is immunocompromised due to a kidney transplant at 19 years old. He has already battled COVID in February of 2020, which attacked his donor kidney and resulted in five months of dialysis. Jim received three doses of the covid vaccine. The Tasson family has spent nearly the last two years living their lives as cautiously as possible to protect the husband and father they love. Jim is currently in critical condition in the ICU at ThedaCare in Neenah. He is intubated, has pneumonia, has stage 4 kidney failure, and metabolic acidosis. He has received Remdesivir and monoclonal antibodies. Jim is fighting as hard as he can!!

The Tasson's are not the type of people to ask for help. I am asking family, friends, and strangers to come together in any way possible, prayers, positive thoughts, or a donation. The medical expenses are going to be overwhelming. Nikki is currently off of work caring for the children and will be for some time. Jim is going to have a long recovery. Any monetary donation will be used for medical expenses and monthly bills. Again, if you cannot donate, please keep this wonderful family in your prayers and positive thoughts!
