Hi everyone,

We’re the Tafoya family—sons Roger, Richard, and Johnnie—and we’re reaching out on behalf of our amazing mom, Taunya Tafoya. Our beloved dad passed away just a few days before Christmas, and his loss has left us all feeling overwhelmed, both emotionally and financially.

Our Story

A Year of Care and Devotion

This past year, our mom and brother worked tirelessly to care for our dad after he beat cancer. We thought the worst was behind us, but then he went into septic shock. Tragically, he passed away despite all of our hopes and prayers.

A Wonderful Husband, Father, and Friend

Our dad was the glue that held our family together. He worked for the City of Los Angeles and was admired by everyone on his crew for his hard work and dedication. He was a loving husband to our mom, Taunya, and always put his family first.

Financial Struggles

Since our dad’s passing, our mom has been working two jobs just to keep the household going. The medical bills from his care, along with funeral expenses, have started to pile up. We’re worried about how she will manage everything on her own.
