My name is Don Swonger, and my wife is Claudia Swonger. Our daughter-in-law, Stephanie Swonger and our two granddaughters were involved in a serious car accident on May 6th, 2025. The youngest daughter, Sydra Swonger, was severely injured when the seat belt cut into her organs. Every organ was lacerated and severely damaged, including her liver, pancreas, adrenal gland, kidney, lung, and a portion of her bowels, along with a host of complications too numerous to mention. Their car was completely totaled.

Sydra will need four or five major surgeries in the weeks and months ahead. Our son will not be able to work for at least three or four weeks as he takes care of his family. Immediate needs include medical bills, a replacement car, household bills, and mortgage.

Stephanie and Sorina were badly bruised but are in stable condition. However, Stephanie did suffer some damage to the base of her neck with compressed discs. She will also not be able to return to work right away.

Sydra has made some miraculous progress but is still looking at three or four weeks of surgeries and extended hospital stay.

It is impossible to predict, at this stage what the costs will be, maybe well over $ 100,000.00 and more.
