Help the survivors of Lebanon

Donation protected
Hello Everyone.

On August 4th, 2020 at 6:07pm a warehouse in the middle of Beirut, Lebanon massively exploded and destroyed miles of surrounding areas.

Many people are still currently missing. 137 have been pronounced deceased and over 5000 are injured, but we are expecting that number to rise over the next upcoming days.

The cause of the explosion is said to be caused by the warehouse holding chemicals (such as ammonium nitrate) that caught on fire.

This is beyond devastating.

We as a world need to come together and HELP each other in times of need.

To get a little perspective, Lebanon's whole country is smaller than Southern California alone. The amount of people who are physically affected by this tragedy is a BIG part of the countries population.

'Tonight people in Beirut are going to sleep in shattered homes, during a deadly pandemic, with a collapsing economy led by corrupt politicians, surrounded by countries that have attacked and threatened them and a world that has abandoned them and their refugees. They deserve better.' - Ayman Mohyeldin

As we all know, donation links and government help isn't always trusted, so I am afraid to post any links that might fall into the wrong hands.

Although I am positive the trauma that they endured will never be mended, I am hoping these gracious donations will ease their pain.

What I will do with this money raised is physically hand it out to the families in need. Help them stay safe and as healthy as possible during covid-19, keep them fed, fix their houses, and anything else to get them back on their feet.

2020 is a tough year. I've witnessed miracles. I've seen the love us humans have for each other. I just ask to put yourselves in their shoes and try to feel their pain.

Although I live in Los Angeles, my family lives in Beirut, Lebanon.
My cousin works for the Lebanese Red Cross. This money is going straight to them. You can donate directly to the Lebanese Red Cross, but please make sure it isn't fraudulent and it is a credible link. A lot of donations are being forwarded to the government and kept there.

If you are worried about not donating "enough" please remember anything is graciously appreciated.

I love you all and I appreciate everything.

-D.
