**Support for the Suess Family: Honoring John’s Life**

It is with profound sadness that we share the devastating loss of John Suess, a bright and beloved 24-year-old who passed away after suffering two major heart attacks this past week.

John’s passing has left his family shattered. His mother, Caroline, is now faced with the unimaginable grief of losing her eldest son, while his younger brothers, Jackson (a sophomore at UVA) and Luke (a junior at Columbia), navigate life without their cherished big brother. John now joins his father, Jeremy Suess, in heaven. Jeremy tragically lost his life in a drowning accident during a family beach vacation in the summer of 2022.

John was deeply loved by all who knew him. His warmth, kindness, and the joy he brought to his family and friends will never be forgotten. His loss is a heartbreaking reminder of how precious and fragile life can be.

As Caroline and her family prepare for John’s memorial service in early January, they are also burdened with the weight of medical expenses from his time in ICU and the costs of laying him to rest. We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial strain on the Suess family so they can focus on healing and celebrating John’s life.
