OUR MISSION
The mission of University Preparatory Academy-Palm Beach is to provide students with the academic, leadership and social skills that will enable them to attend and graduate from an institution of higher education.
LET’S FACE IT! Yes, it is a critical time for everyone around the globe. We need to be strong and be together at this time. No matter what happens, I believe, our students learning should not be disturbed. I am so thankful for the virtual learning happening around our nation and beyond. The children are the future of the world, and we need to help them to be successful!
The students at my school come from a poverty neighborhood. 99.9% of these students are in free/reduced lunch program and have no computer at home to extend their learning. I am raising money to help these students with getting a computer. During this crisis time with corona virus, the instruction is taking place in an online environment, but these students have no computer at home to take this opportunity for learning. Your generous help will help these students with their education now and later. Together, Let's make a difference!
We need to raise this money quickly so we may provide our students in need with a computer so they may continue their education virtually from home. Please support our cause and help us reach our targeted goal quickly. Our deficit is great and we need to purchase approximately 200 chrome books. The price of each chrome cart containing 25 chrome books is roughly about $6500.00. In order to reduce our gap we would need to purchase 8 carts (each cart contains 25 chrome books) approximately about $55,000.
