Help the struggle against Covid 19 in Indonesia.

Hello Everyone, 

I would like to ask you for a little bit of your time and attention.
As you all know all countries in the world are struggling with the Corona Virus.
Because of this Virus a lot of people are in desperate need of help.

In response to this I felt the urge to do something, or at least try. So a while ago I started asking my friends back home in Indonesia for donations to buy food for those who cannot afford it anymore.
In a short time I was able to collect money from 26 people and I asked my close friend in Jakarta to buy and distribute the food. We were able to help 90 people by giving them rice, noodles, canned food and other supplies so they can at least eat for a week.
Isn't it amazing that with the help of only 26 people you can feed 90 people for a week?

I really want to help everybody but I know that that is impossible.
This is why I am reaching out to you today to help those who have nothing. What a difference could we make in peoples lives if we all  join together? How many more people could we help? It is not just a matter of money and sickness but for many people in third world countries it is a question about survival. 

In Indonesia, where I come from, people are as good as on their own when it comes to surviving.  In a country with more then 200 million people you cannot expect full support from the government.

I am blessed that I am living in Norway at the moment and I know that many of you are as blessed as I am.

By writing this letter, I would like to ask for your support, because the situation in Indonesia is not getting better, it is getting worse and worse. People are desperate.
Would you consider contributing $10 to help the poor and those in need in my country?
Why  $10? I always remind myself how quick and easy it is to spent 10$. For some of us it is the money we used to spend for a cup of coffee or on a pack of cigarettes or other things that we might not even actually need. But with 10$  in Indonesia you can buy food for almost a week. A little goes a long way there in Indonesia. 
Im not saying this to make you feel bad but to show you that if we all step back a little bit we can help make a huge different in other peoples lives. 

I believe that we all have something to give, even if it's small because we all have two hands, one to take and one to give

I know for many people giving right now is hard or even impossible. Some of us have lost our jobs or taken other hits recently. Please don’t let that stop you. There is hope!
