Imagine waking up to the smell of smoke, the sound of alarms blaring, and the terrifying realization that your home—the place where your children feel safe, where memories are made, where laughter echoes through the walls—is being consumed by fire. That nightmare became a reality for our dear friends, Joel and Lindsay Stoltenow, and their two young boys.

Joel has dedicated his career to serving others through Lutheran Family Services, pouring his heart into our local community. Lindsay balances work and motherhood, ensuring their boys feel loved and supported in all their activities. They are the kind of people who show up—who give, who serve, who love others so well. And now, they need us to show up for them.

Their goal is to move back into their home within eight months, but they have significant costs associated with rebuilding their lives.
