Help the Stock Family

Fellow East Islip resident, Christopher Stock was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Unfavorable Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Christopher has lived in East Islip his entire life, along with his parents Leeann and Edward and his siblings Ashley and Eddie.
I have known the Stock family since I met Ashley in Kindergarten and I truly cannot fathom what this family is going through right now. When we were little, I was a painfully quiet kid and Ashley often acted as my "voice" when we were in school. Now it is my turn to be the voice of Ashley and the Stock family, although I wish it were under different circumstances.
Prior to the diagnosis, Christopher was a seemingly healthy 20 year old boy working as a marine mechanic. The news of Christopher's diagnosis was a complete shock, as was the financial aspect as the bills have already started coming. Not only will the family need to pay for treatment, but they have also been paying for travel into the city, parking, doctors visits, etc. All of these costs add up. Christopher began standard chemotherapy today (6/6/18) and is also doing a clinical trial medication. Christopher will be unable to work during the course of treatment because his job will be too dangerous while on chemo.
My hope is that everyone in the community will come together to help the Stock family pay for Christopher's treatment and associated expenses so they can spend this time focusing on what is MOST important, being there to support Christopher and each other without worrying about the expenses that are already piling up.
