I'm Amanda. Recently my very close friend and co-workers husband Mike was diagnosed with Chrons disease. Mike is a husband, father, and provider. He has worked with his diagnosis trying to keep his family's head above water, and this has taken a toll on his health. A few weeks ago, things took a turn, and Mike was unable to stay at a job working outside. Despite his illness he found work that was manageable and started immediately. Unfortunately things just did not get much better, he spent the better half of a month in bed in severe pain, and continued to work through it. It didn't take long for things to go from bad to worse. Mike was admitted to the hospital early this week as he was in so much pain his family couldn't bare to see him in that condition. He is in the hospital battling several serious infections, and needing emergency surgery overnight to save him. His wife and very close friend of mine, Sherry, has had to take a leave. She needs to be by his side, because his illness has become so critical. Now neither of them are able to work, and they have a young son to provide for. Sherry and Mike are selfless, they would never ask for help, so I am asking for them. Please consider donating, and making a difference in their life no matter how small.
