I’m Ambi...and this is my family affected-my mother, grandparents, and aunt. Yesterday evening around 5pm, I received a call from my grandmother. Her tone told me something was wrong . The words following nearly sucker -punched me in the stomach. She said ,”Ambi, our house is on fire.” My husband and I ran out the door and headed to Gallatin . Good news is that everyone made it out safely.Bad news is that there is a bit of damage  and my aunt lost EVERYTHING  in her room as the fire started in the back of the house . A family friend has given them a place to stay indefinitely so they are fine and that’s no worry, but the rebuilding and recovery process must begin! My grandfather(our Superman) has dementia/Alzheimer’s so this will fall on us women to take care of things  and I am creating this to get the ball rolling. My family is still in a state of shock right now, as to be expected. Please give whatever you can.
