Help the Staley Family as Jody Fights for Healing
Donation protected
Dear friends,
Thank you. So many of you have been praying, reaching out, and standing with our family—and we feel it. Your love has been carrying us through the hardest weeks of our lives.
On the night of Friday, July 11, while visiting family in Washington State (far from our home in Florida), Jody suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. He was rushed to a local hospital, and within hours, airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, the top regional trauma and neuroscience center in the Northwest. God’s hand was on him from the beginning.
When Jody arrived at the ICU, he had minimal brain function, and the prognosis was grim. But God.
In the weeks since, he has survived not only the initial rupture but also a critical phase of vasospasms, a second brain bleed, and now faces another surgery to support his ongoing recovery. He remains in the ICU nearly a month later, and while his journey has been full of complications and setbacks, we see steady signs of hope.
We know Jody’s road to recovery will be long and uncertain, but we’re believing God for full restoration. Each day, we see small miracles—and we trust in His timing and His goodness.

How You Can Help
1. Pray for Jody and the Family
• Pray for complete healing, no setbacks, and full restoration.
• Pray for wisdom for his care team.
• Pray for peace and strength for Jessica, their children, and the rest of the family.
“The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.” – Psalm 41:3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” – Isaiah 26:3
2. Support the Staley Family Financially
Jessica and the kids are still in Seattle, far from home. The expenses—lodging, meals, transportation, and daily living needs—add up quickly. On top of that, Jody is out of work indefinitely. We want to lift some of that financial pressure so the family can focus fully on Jody’s healing.
Whether it’s $5 or $500, every gift helps and every gift matters. If you’re unable to give, please share this page and continue to pray boldly.
The Staleys have always been the first to show up for others—with prayers, encouragement, and practical help. Now it’s our turn.
Let’s rally together to surround them with the love and support they need in this season.
With deep gratitude,
Family/Friends of the Staleys
