When I started Revive over 8 years ago, I would have never imagined we would be in this position. The Covid-19 Pandemic has had a tremendous impact to the Service Industry - which includes personal services such as Massage Therapy and Skin Care Services. We were among the first to be affected as "social distancing" was implemented. Our bookings slowed and then eventually came to a halt - I could see the fear in their eyes.
If you have ever had a Massage or Facial with us, you know our team works really, really, hard to help you relax, de-stress, work that knot out of your back or just allow you to take a 60/90 minute break from life. By nature, the staff is compassionate and got into this industry because they enjoy helping people. What you may not know is that our AMAZING team of Massage Therapists and Estheticians work on commission and count on your generous gratuities. It is their livelihood - how they pay for their rent, food, childcare, transportation, health insurance. With no services allowed to be offered until further notice by the Governor, their income has come to a halt.
I am asking for your help as we work through this crisis. Revive isn't a franchise, we don't have investors - we are just a local small business. Revive isn't going anywhere, we have a viable and stable business model. We can't wait weeks for Bills to be passed or the red tape of Government assistance.
