Help the St. Mary Sisters get the walls of the convent up! Right now, the Sisters are living in a convent too small for their needs. The house is so old that there are high levels of lead in the water, the foundation is crumbling, and there is debris in the pipes. Therefore, a new convent, which is a large building where all the Sisters live and receive training for their work, in North Dakota, is the space needed so that more young women may begin their formation, enrich their prayer lives, and obtain the education necessary to be strong teachers.
Women want to enter and the present building cannot support the wear and tear of more people living in it! The Sisters have raised $3M and they need to raise $10M more in order to complete the construction of a convent for 36 teaching Sisters. While the Sisters work in the Diocese of Bismarck, they are not financially supported by the diocese, thus we need your help to raise the funds to get a new convent and serve in more locations than Bismarck!
