Help the Springers: Baby Archie's NICU Journey

UPDATE: Archie has made tremendous progress this week! He is off his oxygen and able to breastfeed! Praise God for Archie's progress! The Springers are humbled and beyond grateful for all of the generosity and prayers! Thank you all!!

We are reaching out on behalf of Derek and Jennifer Springer and their precious baby boy, Archie Russell, who was born prematurely at 35 weeks. Many of you know Derek and Jennifer as Christians who worship with the Meeker Avenue Church of Christ in Muncie, Indiana. Others may know them from past jobs or through their kids’ school. No matter how you’ve come to know them, you know they are a wonderful, God-fearing family.

Archie is a precious gift from God—a "rainbow baby" after a heartbreaking loss last year. His early arrival means he’s facing medical challenges that require extended NICU care, which brings with it a host of steep and unexpected medical expenses.

During this time, Derek and Jennifer are pouring all their energy into Archie’s health, while also juggling their business, caring for big sister Lynleigh, and being there for big brothers Austin, Andrew, and Carter.

We serve a God who is able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory” (Ephesians 3:20).
