Help the Sponheimers Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

My parents, Maryann and Gunnar Sponheimer, have been tragically affected by Hurricane Helene. They have owned their beautiful home for over 25 years. They have raised two beautiful children, housed family, friends, & their children’s significant others, many many many sleepovers, birthday parties, family events, and much more.

Their home has been completely destroyed by flood waters. Almost every item in the home including clothes, shoes, furniture, kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, and 25 years of living has been destroyed.

While I know many people are facing the same devastation from the hurricane, my hope is to gather as much support and help for my parents (the Sponheimers) as possible during this extremely difficult time for them.

Anything helps, especially with water remediation, replacement of clothing and shoes, furniture, appliances, and to help bridge the gap between any insurance coverage to be received and the exorbitant cost of replacing almost everything they own for the past 25 years.

I decided to start this GoFundMe to help my parents as they have helped many people before. My parents are some of the kindest, sweetest, most caring people I have ever met. They would do anything for a friend, neighbor, family member, or even a stranger they have just met.
