We never imagined we would be in this position, but today we are asking our community for help saving our family’s pizza restaurant.
Our family has poured everything into our Missouri City restaurant. This is not just a business to us. It is our investment, our family’s future, and something my husband has given his heart to every single day. He has worked tirelessly not only to keep the doors open, but to make this restaurant a place that serves and supports the community around it.
My husband has always believed in showing up for others. He has given so much of himself to this community through his time, energy, leadership, and willingness to help wherever he can. He cares deeply about the people here and has worked hard to build more than just a pizza place. He has tried to create a place where families gather, kids celebrate, teams meet, and people feel welcome.
Now we are the ones who need help.
We have until April 27 to raise $10,000. If we cannot raise that amount by then, we will be locked out and forced to close. After everything we have invested, everything we have sacrificed, and everything this business means to our family, the thought of losing it like this is devastating.
In the three years we have been open, Alex and I have never taken a paycheck or a single cent from the store. Every dollar has been reinvested back into the business to keep it afloat, support operations, and continue serving the community. We have sacrificed again and again because we believed this restaurant was worth fighting for.
We took on business loans to start this restaurant and keep it going. While Alex and I both work, without the revenue from the restaurant, we will not be able to pay those loans back. This is not just about losing a business we love. It is about being left with overwhelming debt after fighting so hard to keep this place alive.
The truth is, $10,000 does not guarantee we will make it through May. But every dollar we receive will go straight to the business account to help pay down the high-interest loans that are burying us. We do have access to a lifeline loan, but those funds will not be available until May 15. Right now, we are simply trying to survive long enough to reach that date.
Our 40th birthdays are coming up on April 25 and April 30, and this is truly all we want. We are not asking for celebrations or gifts. We are asking for a chance to keep our business alive.
We are asking for help to get through this immediate crisis and keep our doors open. Every donation will go directly toward helping us meet this urgent deadline and avoid closure. Every share helps us reach more people. Every prayer and word of encouragement means more than we can say.
If our restaurant has ever been part of your family’s pizza nights, your celebrations, your memories, or your community, we are asking you to please stand with us now.
Thank you for supporting our family, our business, and the community we have tried so hard to serve.
With gratitude,
The Sowell Family
