Help the Sotomayor Family Recover After a Fire

We are a small circle of friends coming together to support the Sotomayor family during a difficult time.

As members of the same community, we wanted to create a way for people to help after a recent fire impacted their home and work equipment. While the fire was relatively contained and everyone is safe, it caused significant disruption to their daily life and ability to work.

Currently, the family does not have electricity or a usable kitchen, making day-to-day living extremely challenging as they navigate next steps and repairs.

The fire also resulted in the loss of essential tools and equipment the family relies on for their livelihoods. The Sotomayor family is a household of four, working hard to support their children and rebuild stability.

Their daughter had recently started her own car detailing business, Miss Honey’s, and lost all of her tools and supplies in the fire. What was just beginning as a promising new business came to an abrupt halt. Their son, Tadeo, attends a charter school and, like any child, deserves consistency and security while his family works to recover from this setback.

This fundraiser was created by friends who simply want to help replace lost tools, restore basic living needs, and support the Sotomayor family as they get back on their feet and move forward.
