Help the Solheim family after a devastating house fire
On the morning of August 25th, tragedy struck the Solheim family when a devastating fire destroyed their home. Anne, Michael, and their two sons, Henry and Luke, lost everything in the house in a matter of moments. Thankfully, the family and Millie, their dog, weren't home at the time of the fire and everyone is safe. Sadly, the house and everything in it was destroyed, so the road to recovery is long and daunting. We are reaching out to our community for support in helping them rebuild.
Friends of the Solheim family have set up this GoFundMe to help them cover immediate needs such as clothing, food, and temporary housing, as well as to begin the long process of making a new home. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help the family start anew.
Your generosity and support mean the world to the Solheim's as they navigate this difficult time. The family has decided that any funds raised through this GoFundMe that are not needed in their rebuilding effort will be donated to Hawthorne Scholastic Academy, where Henry and Luke go to school, and the Chicago Fire Department Foundation, supporting Chicago's firefighters and their families.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
