Hello friends of The Sock Monster. On the morning of Saturday, April 11th we discovered that we had been broken into. We suspect that the thief jammed our security system. We have footage of her scoping out our store around midnight/1am and breaking in at 4:04am. Our alarm did not go off and our cameras inside the shop did not record anything. She left the shop around 7am.

The thief broke the window on our door and stole our shop computers, cash, and some high value merchandise. We are grateful that she did not steal more products but are still devastated by the losses we have incurred.

Due to the break-in, we will need to close our shop for an estimated week in order to complete our inventory.

We are humbly asking for assistance as we move forward in this troubling time. We are looking to raise $5,000 to make up for our lost sales, lost wages, and to hopefully come back stronger than ever.

We are also continuing to accept online orders and are encouraging customers to purchase gift cards while our inventory is in flux.
