If someone were to ask me what business is constantly giving back to others, the answer would be easy. THE SMOKIN PIG!
This small family business is constantly putting others first. Every time there is a need they are there. They have helped countless families through their worst times of need. They have shown up in big ways. Now it’s our turn to do the same for them. They did not ask for this, but I feel it is the right thing to do. Below is a little back story of what they are going through. Let’s stand together and show them what a blessing they are. That have sewn the seeds; let’s bless them with some of the fruit!
Let’s help them continue to provide for their employees during this time!
““Support small business” is a phrase that gets thrown around a lot, but I’m not sure people always understand what that really means.
This time of year is brutally slow for restaurants.
Today, we lost roughly $10,000 worth of inventory after our Walk in Failed, And depending on when we can safely reopen, we’re staring at another $8,000–$12,000 in lost income. Our bank account is sitting near zero. We’ll be relying heavily on our line of credit just to push forward.
But here’s the part most people don’t see:
It’s not about us.
It’s about the amazing people that work here.
They have bills to pay. They have kids to feed. They have Christmas to buy. And we refuse to let them down.
That’s what “support small business” really means.
It’s not about profit — it’s about people. It’s about families. It’s about community.”
