Hurricane Melissa has left deep scars on our family. The Smiths—who live in Trelawny, Jamaica—lost nearly everything when the storm tore through. They are humble, hard‑working, and live simply. They have never asked for much. Today, we’re asking on their behalf so we can help restore their sense of dignity and stability.

About Us

We are Kevon and Aisha Smith from North Carolina. We are raising funds for our immediate family in Trelawny: my sister-in-law, her husband, and their five children, as well as my mother-in-law and father-in-law. We are organizing this fundraiser to send essential supplies and to help rebuild the parts of their two family homes that were severely damaged or lost.

How Your Gift Will Be Used

Barrels of Essentials: Food staples, clean drinking water, hygiene items, bedding, basic clothing, and tools for clean-up and repairs.

Home Repairs: Roofing materials, doors and windows, lumber, masonry supplies, electrical fixes, and safe labor to rebuild damaged sections in both homes.

Transport and Logistics: Shipping the barrels to Trelawny and local transportation to get supplies where they are needed.

Immediate Needs: Replacing everyday items that make a house a home—cookware, linens, and simple furnishings.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference. The goal is not extravagance—just the basics that will help the Smiths stand back up with dignity.

Our Timeline

We plan to visit Jamaica for two weeks in December. It would make the trip that much more meaningful if we could have accomplished our goal by then.
