Help the Smith Family Rebuild After Fire

Donation protected
I'm starting this fund as a friend, for a friend because i would like to help them ask for help when it is hard for them to do so on their own. With the daily living in todays world already hard enough and then to add on top of that, with kids, jobs, day to day life, a fire in their home it just makes it harder. we all have been overwhelmed with day to day living so we all know how it feels but i couldn't imagine as a parent adding a fire in my home on top of that, that caused enough damage to make an impact on daily life.

Monday night at approximately 6:40pm fire fighters put out an electrical fire in that attic of the Smiths home. They had just gotten their roof redone and one of the nails punctured through somehow and broke into a circuit wire causing the flame to spread in the insulation.
Although it was the fast action of Aastin and Serenity to get the fire put out in their home, their attic and their oldest child’s bedroom were still damaged. their attic stored all of their holiday decorations and decades of bins with memorabilia that have all been damaged and deemed a loss,
Including some damage to Aastin’s photos and belongings passed down by his late father.
They have to replace insulation, some studs in the walls as well as other damaged parts of the ceiling and boards to the roof in order to make the room safe to sleep in for their daughter, not know the extent of the damage behind what they can currently see.

Their oldest lost all of her art supplies, PS4 &games, TV, collectibles, school supplies, camera products, and all of her cosmetics, jewelry, and her cat supplies(toys and bowls and bedding). They are unsure of the full cost to replace or repair all of this at this time but need to do so sooner then insurance is processing.
I chatted with serenity and she was grateful that even though the outcome was devastating that it wasn't worse then it was.
She wrote to me:
'We understand how lucky we are to not have had a worse outcome and still be able to live in our home. However, Aastin and I both had to take time off work to handle things and it’s a long road ahead with insurance and due to having 5 people living in the home, we have to try to make our daughter’s room livable and safe again in the meantime while waiting for insurance. We also have to clean out and dispose of the chemically damaged items in a safe way which may be costly. Anything helps.

AS i am the same way, they are not ones to ask for help but so many friends have asked how they can assist, some have even offered help financially and i feel as if this will make it less stressful and more organized for the Smith Family while they are working through this situation. As Serenity said anything helps, lets get these repairs started for this family ! thank you for taking the time to read and share.
