Help the Smith Family After Devastating House Fire

Hello, family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help after a devastating tragedy has struck my family and changed our lives forever. On January 8, 2025, we suffered an unimaginable loss when a space heater caught on fire and demolished

our entire childhood home from the basement up. We are extremely grateful to be able to escape with our lives, but now are facing the reality of homelessness. Tragically, all of our belongings, memories, and essentials were lost in the blaze, leaving us with nothing except the clothes on our backs.

As a single mother of four kids, my mother, Jackie Smith, has worked 3 jobs and poured her blood, sweat, and tears into our beloved home for over 30 years to watch it engulfed in flames within hours. Her youngest son, Tre’ Smith is currently in the Navy serving for our country but will come home to ashes and soot instead of his cherished belongings. The emotional and financial toll this disaster has taken on us is still unfathomable, and as we process this loss, we will need all the help we can get to rebuild our lives.

During this incredibly challenging time, I am hoping to raise funds to support our family as we begin to rebuild our lives from scratch. The funds will go directly to:

- Temporary Housing

- Replacing food, clothes, and essentials

- Rebuilding the home
