Hi, my name is Ella! I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my mom and her sweet little cafe that was unfortunately burglarized a couple nights ago. If you know my mom, Melanie and her partner Jake, you know how hard they continuously work to not only create a welcoming and loving environment in their restaurant, but also to keep the small business running everyday.

Early Tuesday morning, two people broke into The Small Cafe. They made off with paychecks, business files, and all tablets and charging docs from our point of sale system - TOAST. (They’re basically like iPads- so they knew where the money was.) Please let us know if you recognize anything about these two thieves who clearly have no idea how hard it is to be a small business owner. If anyone happened to see something, any information would be appreciated to help give as many details for the police report. We are still open for business during our regular hours and welcome the support.

Any help to get us back on our feet is greatly appreciated and thank you to our loving community who has been so supportive throughout these unforseeable events.
