On October 28, 2025 Hurricane Melissa, a category 5 storm, struck Jamaica leaving behind more than broken homes, it left behind broken hearts, lost memories, and entire communities struggling to start over. Many families are now without a safe place to sleep, cook a meal, or call home.
The Skeine family in the United States and Canada are raising funds to help the Skeine family back home in Jamaica. Members of our family residing in St Elizabeth, Jamaica and Hanover, Jamaica were left HOMELESS. Communities such as: Newtown, Vineyard, Fyffes Pen, Sellington, and Brompton in St Elizabeth and Woodsville Hanover were heavily impacted. Help us to rebuild what was taken from them. Every donation will go directly toward emergency repairs, housing, and basic necessities for those who lost everything. This includes: EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO ROOFS AND WALLS, WATER AND MUD DAMAGES, CLOTHES, FOOD, AND CLEAN WATER.
These are mothers, fathers, children, and neighbors; people who worked hard to build their lives, only to see it all washed away in a matter of hours. Yet even in the midst of loss, there’s hope. Together, we can help them begin again.
No contribution is too small; every dollar counts toward bringing comfort, stability, and strength back to these resilient survivors. If you can’t give financially, please consider sharing this campaign to spread the word.
Let’s come together as a community to remind them they’re not alone. Let’s help them rebuild not just their homes, but their hope.
❤️ Please donate and share. Together, we can make a difference.
