Help The Sink Family ❤

My name is Stefanie Bermingham; I met Cristen and the Sink family through the special needs community. Our daughters share the same lissencephally/miller dieker syndrome diagnosis and are the same age. Our family understands the joys and challenges that come with having a child with special needs. Recently, we heard about the extensive mold issue that turned their lives upside down.

In mid December, Cristen and Johnny suddenly discovered mold in the attic and basement of their home through an inspection. This came after Cristen was experiencing serious health problems. The airborn mold was filtering into their main living level as well. This is particularly dangerous for Waverly as she has serious respiratory complications  (although unsafe for all family members). 

They were forced to leave their home and stay with family close by. This is hard for anyone, but especially a family with a child that has many medications, equiptment, supplies, etc. The mold remediation was financially extensive with tear out, clean up, replacing insulation, throwing materials out/replacing them, and purchasing a heavy duty dehumidifier and air purifier.

We really wanted to find a way to support the Sinks' and bring friends/family together to help. We pray that this go fund me page will help to lift the financial burden they have endured.
