The Simmons family—Renee Simmons Wilkins, Barbara Simmons, and Kevin Simmons—have dedicated their lives to pouring into the community, always showing up for others in their times of need. Through their generosity, dedication, and unwavering support, they’ve made a profound and lasting impact on countless lives.

In the early hours of December 8th, a devastating fire destroyed their home—a sanctuary that has housed multiple generations of their family. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they have lost everything. They are now facing unimaginable loss, and as the cold winter sets in, the spirit of Christmas feels distant while they work to rebuild their lives from scratch.

For the past 18 years, I have been fortunate to call the Simmons family part of my extended family. I’ve spent countless days, nights, and holidays in their home, feeling the warmth and love they always extended to everyone who entered.
