Help the Sikes Family Through This Crisis

Hi there - my name is Brittany Hicks and I’m a good friend of Tara and Scott Sikes. As most of you know, on Monday, May 26th, their middle son Hunter was in a bad car accident and is currently in the hospital with an undetermined release date. I’ve started this fundraiser to take as much stress, worry, and any burden financially that the Sikes family may face in the coming days to weeks. Unfortunately, even when tragedy hits, every day life expenses and bills don’t stop. Please don’t feel obligated, but if you are able to and would like to donate, any amount will be greatly appreciated. Please also continue to keep Hunter, and the other two teens that were involved in your thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE as of June 1st - Hunter has been improving day by day - He’s been able to eat on his own, with the help of physical therapy - he’s been able to walk around the floor he’s on at the hospital, and with the approval of his trauma doctors - he’s been allowed to use his phone in moderation which has allowed him to communicate and FaceTime with friends and family, which I just know has lifted his spirits. All of the prayers have been so appreciated but keep them coming - while Hunter has been improving day by day, his journey to recovering is only beginning. Hopefully, sometime this week, he will be discharged from the hospital but he will be going to an inpatient therapy facility for on going care which could be anywhere between 2-3 weeks to 2-3 months. Please continue to keep Tara and Scott in your prayers as well - they’re two of the strongest people I have ever met and have raised through of the sweetest and smartest boys ever!
